Midwest Inspiration Quest began in 2009 as a way to provide adventure activities and expressive arts experiences for individuals as well as facilitating team challenges to build stronger social and work groups. Jacki has been blessed to work with amazing youth and adults in a variety of settings from Kayak Polo and outdoor excursions to the art studio. While this may seem an odd combination of activities, she wanted to explore two of her greatest passions and the more she observed people, the more she realized that the act of creative self expression can be one of the most challenging and adventurous experiences existing.
With a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and Art History as well as a Masters of Education degree in Experiential Learning and Development,Jacki teaches middle school art with a curriculum that is designed to facilitate positive social and emotional development.
Chris Hochstetler & Jacki Proctor
Serendipity brought Jacki and Chris together with a shared dream to continue developing creative and adventure programs that build relationships, self confidence, empathy, understanding, leadership, innovation and artistic endeavor. Like Jacki, Chris has diverse experiences and education to bring to Midwest Inspiration Quest's endeavors. He is the Executive Director of Stuhr Museum in Grand Island and has been a nonprofit leader for 18 years. Prior to that he had a twenty year career in the United States Army that culminated in leading the Army's efforts to expand its Special Operations capabilities. He is a poet and an artist and has spent the past 37 years studying and implementing nontraditional ways of fostering teamwork to build creativity and innovation in the expansion of human relationships and the discovery of multi-disciplinary solutions to complex challenges. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies and History as well as a Masters Degree in Public Administration.
In 2021 Jacki and Chris found a property that was an ideal setting for experiential learning. Midwest Inspiration Quest became Libelle's Hope in Dannebrog Nebraska. Please join us on this amazing journey of personal discovery and co-creation of shared experiences.
